Day 4 - Cebu City

Friday, December 22, 2017

Today was somehow our rest day since we started our trip at around 10AM to explore Cebu City! We had our own private van for ourselves so we were very much flexible with time and were able to visit tourist attractions not included in the typical city tour! 😎

Temple of Leah

Acc to our guide, Temple of Leah was made by Ellen Adarna's grandfather for his wife.. made me wondering how filthy rich Ellen's family was 🤔

Roman-inspired temple with a great view of Cebu since it was uphill!

Taoist Temple

I was actually the one who picked out our itinerary (went with the typical city tour + temple of leah & skywalk!!) and our personal driver was the one who scheduled it since he knew the place. We went first with the farther ones - temples.

House of Lechon

The resto was recommended by our driver. So we ought to try it out! 🐷

Heritage of Cebu Monument

Heritage of Cebu in 360 degrees! haha

San Diego Yap Ancestral House

This house-museum is actually 342 y.o. - 90% orig material! No nails were used for the house, materials were just locked to one another. This house is also considered as the oldest Chinese house outside China and were passed on from 10 direct generations. Up until now, the owner would stay in this house every weekend.. so no worries, house ain't haunted daw haha

As kuya was telling facts about the house, he would also instruct us to pose in picture-worthy spots! Great job kuya!! 👍👍👍

the 1930 radio which is functional until now!!

Magellan Cross

Santo Niño Church

Fort San Pedro

The oldest & the smallest fort here in the Philippines!

Crown Regency Hotel
(Skywalk + Edge Coaster ride!)

our ticket!

I thought this was somehow similar to the glass floors in Tokyo Tower & Sky Tree, but it actually wasn't since the whole experience was open and we only had that string and floor that kept us hanging! haha best experience so far with the sky!!! 💙💙💙 cebu naman, best exp so far in both water & sky! anebe hahaha

edge coaster where we could adjust the angle of our coaster!! omggggg

and again, here's to another delayed flight! hahaha
